BGMI Showdown 2025 Format, Schedule, Dates, and PMGC Qualification Path

The BGMI Showdown 2025 begins on September 18 in Hyderabad, bringing together 48 top Indian squads in a month-long battle that ends on October 12.

Organized by Krafton India Esports, this is the third major BGMI event of the year after BGIS and BMPS, and it comes with the highest stakes yet: a direct ticket to the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025.

BGMI Showdown 2025 Format & Schedule

Lower Bracket (Sept 18 – 21)
- 24 teams divided into three groups.
- Each group plays 16 round-robin matches.
- Top 12 advance to the Quarter Finals.
- Bottom 12 are eliminated.
Upper Bracket (Sept 22 – 25)
- Another 24 teams, again split into three groups.
- 16 matches per group.
- Top 12 teams move directly to the Semi-Finals.
- Bottom 12 drop into the Quarter Finals.
Quarter Finals (Sept 26 – 29)
- 24 teams in total (12 from Lower + 12 from Upper).
- 16 round-robin matches.
- Top 12 qualify for the Semi-Finals; the rest are eliminated.
Semi-Finals (Oct 4 – 7)
- 24 teams (12 from Upper + 12 from Quarter Finals).
- Split into three groups, playing across four days.
- Top 8 go straight to the Grand Finals.
- Bottom 16 drop into the Survival Stage.
Survival Stage (Oct 8 – 9)
- 16 teams fighting for their last chance.
- 12 matches in total.
- Only the top 8 make it to the Grand Finals.
Grand Finals (Oct 10 – 12)
- 16 teams (8 from Semi-Finals + 8 from Survival Stage).
- 18 matches over three days on Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
- Winner lifts the Showdown trophy and secures a direct PMGC 2025 slot.
- Top 8 also qualify for the BGMI International Cup 2025, with a chance to earn two extra PMGC tickets against Korean and Japanese teams.
