Bloober Team has officially confirmed that its remake of Silent Hill 1 is now in full production.

The news came during a recent Q&A session with investors, where the studio also discussed the performance of its latest IP, Cronos: The New Dawn, and outlined the status of several other projects currently in development.

For fans who have been waiting since Konami first announced the remake in partnership with Bloober back in June, this confirmation finally provides some clarity. No release date or gameplay footage was revealed yet.

According to Bloober Team’s management, the studio is currently operating with two internal first-party production teams. One of these is fully dedicated to Silent Hill 1 Remake, while the other is working on a separate, undisclosed project.

Beyond its in-house efforts, Bloober also revealed that five additional titles are being developed through second-party collaborations.

The investor session also shed light on Cronos: The New Dawn, Bloober’s most recent original IP. As per the company’s report, the game sold around 200,000 units during its premiere weekend. PlayStation consoles accounted for the majority of those sales, while Steam represented roughly 25%. When asked about expansions or sequels, Bloober clarified that there are no active development plans for additional content at this time. However, management emphasized that the IP has strong potential for future growth, and they’re keeping the door open for possible expansions down the line.
