The 16 finalists for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2025 Grand Finals have officially been confirmed, wrapping up two high-stakes weeks of semi-finals action.
The Grand Finals will take place from July 4 to July 6, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi.
Over the past fortnight, 24 of the country’s top BGMI squads battled it out in a demanding double round-robin format across Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. Out of these, only the most consistent and clutch performers made it through to the final showdown. Eight teams each from Semi Finals Week 1 and Week 2 will now compete across 18 matches spread over three days, aiming for the championship crown and a chance to grab the lion’s share of the ₹2 crore prize pool, which could go up to ₹3 crore depending on community participation.

Surprise Exits: Fan-Favorites Miss Out
While the Semi Finals delivered plenty of exciting moments, they also brought heartbreak for fans of some big-name teams. GodLike Esports, runners-up in BGIS 2025, couldn’t gain momentum this week and missed out on LAN qualification. Team Soul and Orangutan, both considered strong contenders going in, also fell short on points.
Prize Pool & Fan Participation Twist
Officially, BMPS 2025 is offering a ₹2 crore prize pool, but there’s a unique twist this time. Krafton has launched an in-game event called BMPS Discovery Island, which runs until July 1. Fans can unlock exclusive in-game rewards by participating, and their engagement could increase the prize pool to a potential ₹3 crore. It’s an innovative approach to involving the community directly in the tournament.
Sponsors like realme, KIA, and Monster Energy have backed this year’s edition, underscoring the scale and growth of India’s mobile esports scene. Hosting the finals at a major venue like Yashobhoomi further cements BGMI’s place in mainstream competitive gaming.
What’s Next?
Three days. Eighteen matches. Six games a day. Only one champion.
With top-tier squads ready to clash and the crowd buzzing in anticipation, the BMPS 2025 Grand Finals are shaping up to be one of the most electrifying esports events of the year.
And with the BGMI x Transformers collaboration and BGMI 3.9 update also dropping in July, it’s a great time to be part of the action—whether on the virtual battlegrounds or in the stands of New Delhi.
