Last month’s release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 didn’t exactly land the way most of us expected. The game received mixed reactions from fans, and if you’ve been keeping an eye on Metacritic, you probably noticed it slipping to the bottom of the franchise rankings. Sales in Europe are also declining, as per GDC reports, since launch. But Treyarch clearly isn’t backing down. Instead, the studio is pushing forward with a content-heavy Season 1 — something they’re calling “the biggest season in franchise history.”
And honestly, after seeing everything included, it’s clear why they’re confident. Season 1 is massive. I’ve broken it all down so you can get the full picture of what’s coming.

Season 1 Release Date & Global Launch Times
Black Ops 7 Season 1 officially launches on Thursday, December 4, 2025, going live simultaneously across all platforms and regions. Warzone’s Black Ops 7 integration arrives on the same day, so both experiences are getting overhauled together.
Here’s when you can log in to your regions:
Los Angeles – 9:00 AM, Dec 4
New York / Toronto – 12:00 PM, Dec 4
London – 5:00 PM, Dec 4
Paris / Berlin – 6:00 PM, Dec 4
Athens – 7:00 PM, Dec 4
Moscow – 8:00 PM, Dec 4
Dubai – 9:00 PM, Dec 4

Singapore / Beijing – 1:00 AM, Dec 5
Tokyo – 2:00 AM, Dec 5
Sydney – 4:00 AM, Dec 5
Auckland – 6:00 AM, Dec 5
And like previous years, the seasonal content rollout will arrive in two parts. The mid-season update is expected “in the new year,” according to Treyarch.

Final Thoughts
Season 1 genuinely feels like Treyarch’s attempt to win back the crowd, and if you ask me, this is exactly the kind of heavy-hitting update the game needed. Whether you love Zombies, grind multiplayer, spend your nights in Warzone, or jump between everything, you’re going to have something new to check out on December 4.
