A canceled Batman Arkham project has once again resurfaced online through newly revealed concept art.
The designs, created by artist Jerad S. Marantz, showcase an older and heavily armored version of the Dark Knight that fans never got to see in action.
The leaks are from long-rumored Project Sabbath, which was in development at WB Games Montréal before ultimately being shelved, as developers moved to Gotham Knights, which was released in 2022.
New leaks show different Batman looks from the Arkham series we know. Instead of the younger, agile hero we’re used to, Marantz’s concept shows a weathered Batman, one who’s clearly been through years of crime-fighting. The design features a bulkier, layered suit with glowing red eyes and a battle-worn appearance.

Marantz shared the artwork on Instagram, expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity. “I love Batman! I was so excited when I got a chance to design a suit for the Arkham universe,” he wrote, before acknowledging the disappointment of the project’s cancellation. Still, he described working on the design as a “fun take” and emphasized his deep connection to the character. According to him, the concept was meant to reflect a “much older Batman,” a version where the suit itself kept the exhausted hero going.
While the game never reached release, scattered details and leaks have popped up over time. Earlier this year, concept art for Damian Wayne in a new batsuit, a redesigned Killer Croc, and Huntress appeared on social media by another artist.
Then, there was even unfinished gameplay footage leaked online, featuring a dramatic motorcycle chase between Batman (Damian Wayne) and a visibly monstrous Killer Croc. The sequence appears to be part of an early build, with several textures and assets still in development.
