Chainsaw Man Collaboration Reportedly Coming to Fortnite Soon

Fortnite is reportedly preparing to add Chainsaw Man to its ever-expanding roster of anime collaborations.

The leak comes from the same source that accurately predicted the recent Bleach crossover, lending credibility to the information.

According to SamLeakss, the popular anime franchise is heading to the battle royale game, though no specific release date has been confirmed yet. The collaboration could potentially arrive within the next couple of weeks, but details remain scarce at this point.

For those unfamiliar with the property, Chainsaw Man is a dark comedy anime that aired its first season in late 2022, based on the manga series that began in 2018 and spans 22 volumes. The story follows Denji, a teenager who merges with a chainsaw devil and gains the ability to sprout chainsaws from his arms, head, and eventually his feet. He uses these powers to battle monstrous devils while working for the Public Safety Devil Hunters.

The franchise recently gained additional momentum with the theatrical release of Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc late last year. The movie performed exceptionally well, earning impressive scores of 96% from critics and 98% from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes while pulling in $158 million globally following its October debut. However, fans are still waiting for news about season 2, with estimates suggesting it won't arrive until late 2026 or 2027 at the earliest.

For skins, we can expect Denji (Kikunosuke Toya) to be the main one. Since past anime collaborations have featured anywhere from two to over four characters, it’s likely we’ll also see one or two more from Makima (Tomori Kusunoki), Kobeni (Karin Takahashi), Power (Fairouz Ai), and Aki (Shogo Sakata).

Power seems like a natural choice for a second skin, particularly given how well her abilities would translate into the game with a blood hammer pickaxe.

This collaboration would add Chainsaw Man to an already impressive lineup of anime properties that have made their way into Fortnite. The game has previously featured Dragon Ball, Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Naruto, My Hero Academia, Kaiju No. 8, Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man, and most recently, Bleach. Notable absences from this list include Demon Slayer and One Piece, though a Solo Leveling collaboration is rumored for sometime this year.

Since this information is still classified as being "in the works," there's no official confirmation from Epic Games or a concrete release date. That said, these types of leaks rarely turn out to be false, and Epic has seemingly accepted them as part of their marketing strategy, using the hype generation to their advantage.
