When Will the CEGC Tournaments Take Place?

The CEGC will unfold over two consecutive weeks, starting with the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event from November 7 to 9, 2025, followed by the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament from November 14 to 16, 2025.

The opening ceremony on November 7 will bring together global esports leaders, government representatives, and local creators to officially kick off the event.

Each tournament will have its own structure and competitive focus, with CS2 drawing global teams, and BGMI spotlighting India’s mobile gaming elite.

CS2 Qualifier Schedule:

  • SEA → Oct 17–19

  • EU → Oct 21–23

  • India → Oct 24–26

Prize Pool Breakdown: CS2 and BGMI

The CEGC – Counter-Strike 2 event will feature a USD $50,000 prize pool, making it one of the most lucrative CS2 tournaments ever hosted in India. What makes this event even more significant is its inclusion in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), meaning participating teams will earn official ranking points that contribute to international qualification.

Top teams from India, Southeast Asia, and Europe will compete, with open registrations now available across all three regions. The top two teams from each regional qualifier will secure a slot in the Chennai Playoffs, where they’ll face off live in front of a live audience.

The following week, attention will shift to the CEGC – BGMI tournament, which boasts an INR 50,00,000 (₹50 lakh) prize pool. Only India’s best mobile esports teams will compete for the national title.

While the full format and invited team list haven’t been revealed yet, organizers have confirmed that details will be shared closer to the event.
