Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has won Best Game at the BIG Festival Awards, adding yet another major trophy to its already impressive collection.

The ceremony took place on Wednesday night during Gamescom Latam in São Paulo, Brazil. The event featured 16 categories in total, with Sandfall Interactive walking away with the night's biggest prize. The game also claimed Best Audio.

This win comes shortly after the game took home the BAFTA Award for Best Game. With that victory, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 became only the second game in history to sweep all five major Game of the Year awards in a single cycle. The five major shows it conquered are listed below.

The only other game to have ever pulled off this clean sweep is Baldur's Gate 3. That is a very short and very prestigious list to be on.

Publisher Kepler Interactive and developer Sandfall Interactive also recently confirmed that the turn-based RPG has now sold over eight million units worldwide.

The rest of the night had plenty of highlights too. Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth took Best Art, The Roottrees Are Dead claimed Best Narrative, and MIO: Memories In Orbit won Best Gameplay.

On the regional front, A Rat's Quest: The Way Back Home from Mexican studio The Dreamerians won Best Game: Latin America, while A.I.L.A. from Pulsatrix Studios took Best Game: Brazil.
