Treyarch has officially announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s Endgame mode will now be available to all players, regardless of whether they’ve completed the campaign.
The decision comes after weeks of feedback from the community, with many frustrated that one of the game’s most exciting features was locked behind a campaign that hasn’t exactly been warmly received.

Endgame is a new extraction-style mode that drops squads into Avalon, where you and your team can complete objectives, earn loot, and then exfil at designated points. It’s a fresh twist on the traditional Call of Duty multiplayer formula, blending survival mechanics with the fast-paced action COD is known for. Until now, the catch was that you had to finish the co-op campaign or know someone who had to even get access. That barrier is finally gone.
Treyarch explained the change in a social media post, noting: “We’ve seen an awesome response to Endgame from players who’ve already been dropping in, so we’re making it available to everyone in Black Ops 7 starting Friday, November 21.”
For players who weren’t keen on grinding through the campaign, this is welcome news. It means we can jump straight into the mode that’s been generating the most buzz.
Of course, Treyarch hasn’t forgotten those who already put in the work to unlock Endgame early. If you’ve completed the campaign (before Nov 21), you’ll be compensated with extra rewards. These include:
3× 1‑hour Double Level XP tokens
3× 1‑hour Double Weapon XP tokens
3× 1‑hour Double Battle Pass XP tokens
3× Perkaholic Gobblegums
Meanwhile, newcomers diving into Endgame will also get their own set of rewards. Treyarch confirmed that new players will earn:
“Irides One” M15 MOD 0 Blueprint
“Phantom” Shadow SK Blueprint
“Razorfire Vertex” Ryden 45K Blueprint
“Grounded” Mason Operator Skin
55,000 XP + more rewards
Update goes live on Friday, November 21.
