The large-scale beta for Dune: Awakening has officially begun, giving players a limited window to experience the game before its full release.
The beta offers fans their first chance to explore the vast deserts of Arrakis and test their survival skills in this highly anticipated MMO.
Beta Schedule
Start Date: May 9 at 8am EDT / 5pm PDT
End Date: May 12 at 5:59 PM EDT / 2:59 PM PDT
Asia: May 9 at 8pm CST / 9pm JST to May 12 at 5:59am CST / 6:59am JST
Europe: May 9 at 2pm CEST to May 12 at 11:59pm CEST
South America: May 9 at 9am BRT to May 12 at 06:59pm BRT
How to Play Dune: Awakening Beta
Visit the game's official Steam page
Log in with your Steam account
Scroll down and click the "Request Access" button
Wait for access (granted in waves as servers are monitored)
Check your Steam client periodically for confirmation
According to Funcom, players might not receive immediate access as they are "granting access in waves" while monitoring server performance.
Moreover, anyone with a Dune: Awakening pre-order can access the Beta as well.

Content Available: First 20-25 hours of gameplay (majority of Act 1)
Activities:
Character creation
Crash landing on Arrakis
Survival against sandworms, sun, and bandits
School of the Imperium selection
Crafting shelters, weapons, and sandbikes
Building with the CHOAM Building Set
Exploring Hagga Basin South Region and Eastern/Western Vermillius Gap Regions
Plus, this testing period is entirely free from any non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), meaning participants can freely share gameplay, stream their experiences, or create content based on their time with the game.
