Techland has officially unveiled the complete PC requirements for Dying Light: The Beast, and the good news is that most players won’t need a monster rig to enjoy it.
According to the studio’s latest update, hitting 1440p at 60 FPS should be well within reach for mid-range setups, while those aiming for 4K Ultra with ray tracing will, unsurprisingly, need top-tier hardware.
The game will require around 70 GB of SSD storage across all configurations and will ship with a range of modern PC features, including ray-traced global illumination and reflections, ultra-wide resolution support, and in-depth customization options.
Techland has also confirmed support for Intel XeSS 2, NVIDIA DLSS 4, and AMD FSR 3.1 & 4 on select devices, giving players multiple upscaling and frame generation choices.

Laptop gamers aren’t left out either. Techland’s recommended laptop spec targets 1080p at 60 FPS on Medium settings, with an RTX 3080 Laptop GPU or AMD Ryzen AI 9 370, paired with 16GB RAM and the same 70 GB SSD requirement.

Beyond raw specs, Dying Light: The Beast will also feature dynamic resolution scaling, HDR support, and latency optimizations like NVIDIA Reflex 2, AMD AntiLag 2, and Intel Xe Low Latency. These additions should help fine-tune performance for both competitive and cinematic playstyles.
With these details now public, players can start prepping their systems ahead of launch.
Dying Light: The Beast is set to launch on September 18, 2025, for PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version is also in the works, but Techland has confirmed those will arrive later in 2025.
As for pricing, Techland has locked in the following:
Standard Edition – $59.99 / £59.99
Deluxe Edition – $69.99 / £69.99
The Deluxe Edition includes extras like the official soundtrack, wallpapers, a Castor Woods tourist map, and the Castor Woods Prepper Bundle with exclusive in-game cosmetics and weapons.
And given Techland’s track record with post-launch optimization, there’s a good chance the game will run even smoother after release.
