The next installment in EA’s college football franchise, EA Sports College Football 26, is officially set to release on July 10, 2025.

Following the success of College Football 25, which marked the end of an 11-year hiatus in the series, fans won’t have to wait long this time to suit up again. Last year’s return was met with strong sales and positive feedback, especially from those looking for a fresh alternative to Madden. Now, College Football 26 is building on that momentum, keeping the hype alive with a slightly earlier release date compared to the previous entry.

Release Date and Platforms

The game officially kicks off on Thursday, July 10, and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. While College Football 25 dropped on July 19 last year, this year’s edition arrives nearly a full week earlier.

It’s still unclear whether EA intends to make College Football an annual franchise like FIFA or Madden. However, with the franchise finally back in rotation, most fans are just happy to see consistent releases again.
