FromSoftware’s highly anticipated standalone adventure, Elden Ring Nightreign, is almost here, launching May 30, 2025. Whether you're a returning Tarnished or diving into the Lands Between for the first time, it’s time to lock in your pre-order—and pick the edition that suits your style (and budget).

We’ve broken down everything you need to know about pricing, bonuses, platform availability, and what’s included in each edition of Elden Ring Nightreign.


Platforms

Elden Ring Nightreign will be available on:

  • PC (via Steam)

  • PlayStation 5

  • PlayStation 4

  • Xbox Series X|S

  • Xbox One

Notes:

  • No Nintendo Switch version is planned.

  • Cross-play across different system families (e.g., PlayStation and Xbox) is not supported, but cross-generation play is available (e.g., PS4 with PS5, Xbox One with Xbox Series X|S).

  • The game is not verified for Steam Deck, similar to the original Elden Ring.

  • It’s unlikely to be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.


Editions and Pricing

There are four editions of Elden Ring Nightreign, each with distinct content and pricing. All editions include a pre-order bonus: the “It’s Raining” gesture, which can also be unlocked in-game later.

  1. Standard Edition  

    • Price: $39.99 / £34.99 (~R$199.50 in Brazil)

    • Content: Base game only, no additional content.

    • Availability:

      • Digital: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC

      • Note: Physical copies are exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S; PS4 and Xbox One versions are digital-only.

  2. Deluxe Edition

      • Additional DLC (playable characters and bosses, releasing Q4 2025)

    • Note: The DLC is a one-time purchase with no microtransactions or battle pass.

  3. Seekers Edition (Europe-Exclusive)

  4. Collector’s Edition

Key Game Details

  • Gameplay: A standalone co-op-focused action RPG with roguelike elements, featuring 3-player co-op (solo play also supported). Players choose from eight unique Nightfarers, each with distinct abilities for synergistic combat. The game includes procedurally generated environments in Limveld and eight main bosses, with DLC adding more characters and bosses.

  • No Microtransactions: Confirmed to have no live-service elements or battle pass.

  • Pre-Order Bonus: The “It’s Raining” gesture is included with all pre-orders but can be earned in-game later.

  • DLC: Planned for Q4 2025, included in Deluxe, Seekers, and Collector’s Editions, adding new characters and bosses. No new areas are confirmed, though Limveld’s randomized instances offer variety.

  • The Deluxe and Standard Editions are available both physically and digitally, while the Seeker’s and Collector’s Editions are physical-only.


With Nightreign launching across all major platforms on May 30, 2025, you’ve still got time to secure your spot in this new adventure—but the Collector’s Edition is likely to sell out fast.
