Entergram has postponed the Steam release of the Hololive visual novel Okayunyumu!, which had been scheduled to launch on August 7.

The romance visual novel stars Hololive VTuber Nekomata Okayu and follows a slice-of-life story where the protagonist ends up living with a stray cat-girl after she sneaks into his house.

The Japanese version already arrived on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and as a physical PC edition in February 2025; an English Steam release was planned for August 7 before Entergram announced the delay.

Entergram gave only a brief notice blaming “various circumstances” for the postponement and did not share a new launch date, saying it will announce one once it’s decided. Notably, the company clarified the delay applies only to the Steam version — the Switch standard edition’s physical release still appears to be on schedule for August 7.

The Steam store page lists the game as “coming soon” and flags the title for “Some Nudity or Sexual Content, General Mature Content”; the game is rated CERO C (15+) in Japan. Those content markings have fans watching closely, since recent cases show Steam’s approval process or third-party concerns can affect visual-novel launches. Some in the community have pointed to payment processors and external screening as possible bottlenecks, though Entergram has not confirmed any of those theories.

For now, PS4, Switch and boxed PC copies remain available in Japan, and Entergram says it will share the new Steam date when the company is ready.
