Epic Games Store has upgraded its free game offerings for mobile users. The company just switched from giving away free games monthly to doing it weekly on Android and iOS devices, matching what they've been doing on PC for years.
Back in January 2025, Epic expanded its store to iOS users in the European Union and Android users worldwide. They started by offering some pretty cool free games each month, including fan favorites like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Bloons TD 6.
Now, as of March 20, they've kicked things up a notch. Users can grab Eastern Exorcist (a side-scrolling action RPG with fantasy vibes) and Super Meat Boy Forever (a challenging 2D platformer with random levels) for free until March 27. After that, new free games will take their place.
This change means free games will drop every Thursday on both PC and mobile.
The more frequent freebies should give mobile gamers extra motivation to download the Epic Games Store app.
Epic appears to be checking off goals they mentioned in their February 2025 update. Reports suggest they're focused on building up their mobile game library while also making improvements to the PC store experience.
So if you're gaming on mobile, don't forget to check the Epic Games Store every Thursday – there's something free waiting for you each week!
