Fallout Shelter, the mobile-first strategy game from Bethesda Game Studios, has officially reached its 10th anniversary with an impressive milestone of over 230 million downloads across all platforms since its launch in 2015.

Originally released on June 14, 2015, for iOS devices, Fallout Shelter quickly expanded to Android, PC, and consoles. Its simple gameplay, free-to-play model, and regular content updates helped it grow into the most downloaded title in the Fallout franchise.

According to a blog post by Bethesda, this vault-building simulator has far surpassed other games in the series in terms of reach, with Fallout 4 coming in second at around 25–30 million copies sold.

To mark the 10-year milestone, Bethesda has launched a limited-time celebration event offering free in-game rewards and discounts. Players who log in during specific dates from June 16 to June 21 will receive a range of helpful consumables, such as Lunchboxes, Nuka Cola Quantum, Mr. Handy, and Pet Carriers, which can speed up vault progress and improve dwellers' lives in the game.

Here’s the breakdown of the rewards schedule:

  • June 16 – 17: Lunchbox x2, Pet Carrier x1, Nuka Cola x10

  • June 18 – 19: Lunchbox x3, Mr. Handy x1, Nuka Cola x15

  • June 20 – 21: Lunchbox x5, Pet Carrier x1, Nuka Cola x20

These giveaways are available only on mobile platforms, while a sale of up to 70% off on lunchboxes is active until June 17 for mobile users and those playing on Steam.
