Garena has officially unveiled the registration rules for the upcoming Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2025, giving aspiring squads all the essential criteria they’ll need to meet to qualify for India’s biggest Free Fire MAX esports event of the year.

If you're planning to compete, it's time to get serious—registration will be open in FFC Mode from July 7 to July 13, so the countdown has already begun.

The requirements are fairly strict this time, likely to ensure a higher level of competitive integrity. First off, all team members must be at least Level 40 and ranked Diamond 1 or above in-game. This means only experienced and consistent players will be eligible to participate—casuals might need to grind a bit harder if they want to make the cut.

Teams must consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 players, all of whom must be Indian citizens residing in India.

Players also need to be at least 16 years old on matchday. However, those aged between 16 and 18 can only participate after submitting a parental/guardian consent form, according to the official guidelines.

Another key detail is that no player can be part of multiple teams, not even as a substitute or through a different account. Garena is clearly taking roster discipline seriously this time around, and players trying to bend the rules could face disqualification.

Additionally, once a team plays even a single game, they can no longer disband or make changes to their roster—so choosing your squad wisely is critical.

During the in-game FFC qualifiers, each registered team can play up to 12 matches, but only their top 8 scores will count towards their final ranking. Based on performance, the top 48 teams will then move on to the Online Qualifiers, set to begin on July 26.

While this rulebook might feel like homework for you, it's better to understand it before getting disqualified over a technicality.
