Fortnite Chapter 7 is officially on the horizon, and leaks have given us a clear look at what’s coming next.
For weeks, Epic Games had been dropping subtle hints, pointing to Hollywood coordinates and teasing a Las Vegas‑style setting. Now, thanks to footage from a preview event, the USA‑style map has been confirmed. Clips circulating on social media show arid landscapes dotted with palm trees, with signage referencing a location called Sandy Strip. The first season of Chapter 7 is titled Pacific Break, setting the tone for this new era.

Fresh Features, Gameplay, and Collabs
Leaked footage (via Shiina) has revealed some exciting updates. Driveable reboot vans are making their debut, letting players move to safety before reviving teammates. There’s also talk of a new PvE Solo vs Bots mode, which Switch2 players are sure to enjoy, along with hot air balloons and a ‘Rift-A-Palooza’ event that spawns rifts all over a POI.
Epic later released an official top‑down view of the map, featuring urban areas with wide streets and backyard pools, which many feel are a bit reminiscent of GTA 1.
Epic Games isn’t holding back on collaborations either. Quentin Tarantino appeared at the preview event, standing next to Fortnite’s version of Kill Bill’s infamous Pussy Wagon, rebranded with Meowscles’ face. Leaked footage also teased skins for Uma Thurman’s Bride and Marty McFly from Back to the Future.
Later, Epic confirmed via Instagram that Chapter 7 will bring Kill Bill’s lost chapter Yuki’s Revenge, a storyline that never made it to film. Gogo Yubari is also joining the roster, but her skin will be tied to tickets for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, with codes redeemable in‑game.
Timing
Fortnite’s big annual map changes are usually planned a year in advance, and it’s interesting to think Chapter 7’s USA setting may have been timed to coincide with Rockstar’s GTA 6. Of course, GTA 6 has now been delayed until November 2026, but the overlap shows how Epic anticipates industry trends.
Before Chapter 7 arrives, players will experience the Chapter 6 finale event, Zero Hour, on November 29. Teasers have shown massive battles featuring Godzilla, King Kong, Homer Simpson, and even Star Wars X‑Wings. The event will tie up years of storylines, including the ongoing fight against the Dark Presence.
