This season marks yet another major shift in Fortnite’s ever-evolving landscape, and this time, the island has been overrun by mutated insects. Players are tasked with defending the map using advanced military tech from the O.X.R. defense force.
Season 4 will run until November 1, 2025, giving players three months to dive into new content, grind the Battle Pass, and fight off these oversized pests.

End Date: November 1, 2025 (Eastern Time), providing a three-month duration for players to explore new content.

Battle Pass Details
The "Shock ‘N Awesome" Battle Pass is a central feature, can be purchased for 1,000 V-Bucks or accessed via Fortnite Crew. It includes a diverse array of outfits and rewards, detailed in the following table:

O.X.R. HQ: A military base where players can purchase weapons using Gold, serving as a strategic hub.
Ranger’s Ruin: Once an O.X.R. lab, now overrun with insects.

Enemy Types and Combat Mechanics
New enemy types have been introduced to embody the bug invasion:
Swarmer: Small, numerous insects that can overwhelm players.
Bomber: Explosive bugs, adding a tactical challenge.
Queen: Powerful bug leaders, located at specific POIs, offering significant rewards upon defeat.

To combat these enemies, new weapons and items have been added, including:
Bug Blaster, Roly Poly, Leadspitter 3000 minigun, Sweeper Shotgun, O.X.R. Rifle, Wrecker Revolver, and Swarmstrike rocket launcher.
Exotic weapons, available in O.X.R. Bunkers after reaching rank A in the O.X.R. Rank System, include:
Eradicator O.X.R. Rifle, Double Trouble, Shock n’ Slow Shockwave Launcher, Marksman Wrecker Revolver, and Exotic Slap Berry Fizz.
Mid-season additions include the Blade Blaster (Power Rangers-themed sidearm) and Hammerhead Choppa (a new vehicle), expanding gameplay options.



O.X.R. Rank System
The O.X.R. Rank System introduces a progression mechanic, starting at rank C and advancing to S+. It is shared among party members and offers the following rewards:
