Fortnite’s No Sweat Weekend Brings 60-Player Lobbies for a Chill Battle Royale

Epic Games has rolled out a special No Sweat Weekend in Fortnite Battle Royale, designed to give players a break from the usual high-pressure matches. Starting today, Saturday, November 22, 2025, and running until Monday morning, unranked playlists will feature smaller lobbies capped at 60 players instead of 80.

This change is part of what Epic calls the “60-Player Experiment.” It’s the first time unranked modes, Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads in both standard BR and Zero Build, have seen lobby sizes reduced this far. Ranked modes remain unchanged, but for casual players, this tweak could make matches feel less chaotic and more enjoyable.

The reasoning is simple: many fans felt that even the reduced 80-player lobbies introduced earlier this season were still "too sweaty." By cutting the number down further, Epic hopes to create fairer fights through tighter skill-based matchmaking and a more relaxed pace overall. That means you’ll have more time to loot, explore, and even check out Springfield before it leaves the map on November 29.

Of course, Epic didn’t stop at lobby adjustments. The event comes with playful “No Sweat Insurance” perks. Deodorant Applicator drop rates have been boosted across the island. On top of that, everyone gets five Supercharged XP levels as a bonus rebate for participating.

The event runs only until Monday, November 24 at 9 AM ET, after which lobbies return to their usual 80-player size.
