Fortnite Honors XXXTentacion with In-Game Tribute Concert

Fortnite is once again merging music with gaming in a powerful way—this time with a heartfelt in-game tribute concert for late rapper XXXTentacion, coinciding with the release of his latest posthumous single “Whoa (Mind in Awe) (Remix)” featuring Juice WRLD.

The event, organized by JOGO Studios in collaboration with Epic Games, EMPIRE, and XXXTentacion’s estate.

The concert will take place on May 31, 2025, at the following times:

Special Items and Emotes

While no official XXXTentacion skin is featured, the event includes four of his tracks, such as “Look at Me!” and “Moonlight,” and coincides with the “Whoa (Mind in Awe) (Remix)” music video release.

To enhance the experience, Fortnite has added the “Look at Me” Emote to the Item Shop, priced at 400 V-Bucks.

Even better? A portion of the proceeds from the concert and emote sales will go toward supporting early education initiatives across the Caribbean and Africa.

Remembering XXXTentacion

XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Onfroy, was tragically shot and killed in 2018 at the age of 20. Despite a career cut short, he left a massive impact on modern rap, with hits like “Sad!” posthumously reaching No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard charts.

The interactive experience honors XXXTentacion’s legacy, reflecting his love for Fortnite, and follows a similar tribute for Juice WRLD in November 2024.
