Buriram United Esports have been crowned champions of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2025 Global Finals in Battle Royale mode, securing another major trophy for Thailand.

The Grand Finals were held at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta, where 12 of the world’s best Free Fire teams clashed for the prestigious title. Buriram United Esports, led by Wassana, Joena, Gethigh, Mosh, and TheCruz, delivered a masterclass in consistency and composure. They clinched match point in the sixth round and sealed their victory in the seventh, outlasting strong contenders like Brazil’s Fluxo and Vietnam’s P Esports.
Wassana was the star of the show, earning the Finals MVP (FMVP) award for his clutch plays and aggressive momentum. He also picked up the Predator Award for most eliminations, contributing 22 kills and 13 assists across the series.
The victory was celebrated widely in Thailand and Southeast Asia, marking Buriram’s second consecutive international triumph after winning the FFWS SEA Fall 2024.

The event itself was a spectacle. The opening ceremony featured performances by Warren Hue, Weird Genius, JKT48, and Mick Gordon, blending esports with entertainment. Support from Indonesia’s Ministry of Youth & Sports and PBESI highlighted the country’s growing role as an esports hub. During the closing ceremony, Free Fire was awarded a Guinness World Record for the Largest Mobile Team‑Based Esports Tournament, with over 618,000 players competing across regional leagues in 2025.
Fans also got a surprise announcement: a Free Fire x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover is coming in January 2026. Players will soon be able to channel characters like Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo through exclusive bundles and skill effects.
