Build A Rocket Boy has quietly rolled out a free starter pack for its struggling action-adventure game, MindsEye, in hopes of drawing in new players.
Released on November 28, as a sort of extended demo, offering one full campaign mission along with a surprisingly generous set of ARCADIA missions and challenges.

What’s Inside the Starter Pack
Campaign Mission: Full "Robin Hood" mission: high-speed chase and firefight as Jacob Diaz (ex-soldier with neural implant)
ARCADIA challenges: 14 missions/challenges as follows:
Garden Party – Drone Race
Chase The Sun – Drone Race
Honor Among Thieves
Downtown – Goin’ Haywire
Crosstown Traffic – Checkpoint Race
Rude Interruption
Turbulence – Race
Free Bird – Sky Race
Winging It – Checkpoint Race
Craz-Eye Taxi – Checkpoint Race
Friendly Fire
Cruise Control – Sky Race
Fractured Echo – Survival Horde
Road To Hell – Race
The starter pack is now available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. Simply head to the respective store and add it to your game library.
The Free Starter Pack is described on the PlayStation Store as something that will be “updated regularly” with new content, which suggests the studio is positioning this as an evolving preview rather than a one-off demo.
The game originally began as an open-world creation platform named Everything, and ARCADIA is the latest extension of that idea. Introduced earlier this month, ARCADIA populates the game world with user-created content just like Fortnite.
Given MindsEye’s chaotic launch, the controversies inside Build A Rocket Boy, and the game’s mixed player reception, this free entry point feels like the studio’s attempt to shift the focus back to gameplay instead of headlines.
