Fortnite appears to be gearing up for its first-ever Game of Thrones collaboration.
According to reliable leakers Shiina, HYPEX, and Adira, the Game of Thrones crossover is currently "in development" at Epic Games, which will be "coming soon."
Interestingly, this is something that was predicted as far back as 2019, making it a long time coming for fans who have been hoping to see Westeros make its way into the island.
Of course, a leak is still a leak. Nothing is confirmed, and things can always change during development.
That said, the timing does feel rather significant. Interest in the Game of Thrones universe has seen a noticeable surge following the release of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which brought a fresh wave of fans back into the fold with its mostly lovable cast of characters. Given that Fortnite has a history of aligning its collaborations with major entertainment releases, this crossover feels like a natural and well-timed move.
No specific skins or in-game features have been officially confirmed yet. However, fans are already making their wishes known. Many are calling for Egg, also known as Aegon Targaryen, to appear as a Sidekick. Daenerys Targaryen is another highly requested addition. Dragon-themed gliders are also on the wishlist, and naturally, Jon Snow is near the top of almost every fan's list as a must-have skin.
Epic Games has not made any official announcements about the collaboration or its details. They typically announce collaborations a week before via trailer or on the launch day itself, so don't expect any news from them until it's very close to the release.
