Global Domination: Invasion Brings $1M CS2 Tournament to Oklahoma City This August

Ultimate Gaming Championships (UGC) and Global Domination Events (GDE) have announced Global Domination: Invasion, a massive Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) tournament open to both amateur and professional teams worldwide.

Featuring a $1 million prize pool, the high-stakes LAN finals will take place at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City from August 29–31, 2025.

Schedule & Format

Starting June 17, the tournament will span multiple stages: 

• Qualifiers: Open qualifiers run from June 17 to July 27, 2025, across three regions (Americas, Europe, Asia), each with a $100,000 prize pool. Teams compete to advance to the Territory Finals in July.

• Invitations: Teams ranked 13–28 in each region’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS) get direct invites to an online elimination stage (July 1–15).

• Live Finals: 64 top teams globally compete at the Paycom Center, with the top 2–3 teams per territory receiving all-expenses-paid trips. The event includes musical performances and expects over 10,000 attendees.

Notably, the Grand Finals will take place during the BLAST Open Fall 2025 (August 27 – September 7), adding extra prestige to the event.

The tournament offers a platform for both amateur and professional players, balancing elite competition with opportunities for rising talent.

The three-day event will feature high-end gaming hardware provided by AMD. Beyond the gaming action, attendees can enjoy live musical performances arranged by event producer Mammoth Live.
