Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC just got a new update, detailed in the latest patch notes.

One of the headline features is the arrival of Nvidia’s DLSS 4, which includes multi-frame generation and DLSS frame generation support for both GTA 5 Enhanced and GTA Online.

According to Nvidia, at 4K resolution with maximum settings, DLSS 4 can boost GeForce RTX 50 Series frame rates by an average of 3.9 times. That’s a major performance jump for those with compatible RTX 50 or 40 Series graphics cards.

Of course, these enhancements require the Enhanced edition of GTA 5, released earlier this year. Rockstar also reminded players still using the legacy version that they can upgrade to Enhanced for free.

While the performance improvements are a big win for PC players, GTA Online fans are also getting some fresh in-game toys. The update kicks off “Drift Week”-themed content, adding Drift Tuning upgrades for four vehicles: the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire, Annis Hardy, Vapid Dominator FX, and Dinka Chavos V6.

On top of that, Rockstar is giving away a limited-time free car — the Declasse Drift Walton L35 — which should appeal to both collectors and casual players.

The fun doesn’t stop there. Rockstar has teased more GTA Online events rolling out later this summer and into fall. Players can expect a new Survival mode, Halloween-themed events, and even a GTA$ giveaway.

These updates aim to keep the community engaged while anticipation builds for the next big reveal on Grand Theft Auto 6.
