Since GTA 6 was announced, fans have wondered if beloved characters from GTA 5 like Michael, Franklin, Trevor, and Tommy might return. While nothing official has been confirmed and voice actors remain silent on the matter, Rockstar might be dropping subtle hints in the new trailer.
In the second trailer (at 0.22), when Jason speaks with Brian about collecting money, viewers spotted something interesting. In the far right of the screen sits a white yacht with a blue stripe parked on a stand. Many fans immediately noticed its striking resemblance to Michael's boat from GTA 5.
Michael's yacht was a significant part of his character in GTA 5. Despite losing it early in the game during a mission, Michael frequently mentions it throughout the story, clearly attached to his stolen vessel.
Some fans took this as a hint that Michael himself might appear in GTA 6. While the boat alone doesn't confirm his return, it seems unlikely to be a coincidence.
Adding fuel to the speculation, Ned Luke, Michael's voice actor, responded to fans discussing the Easter egg with a playful comment: "I'm coming Jason... For my boat."
According to gaming insiders, this could simply be a clever reference or potentially something more significant. Whether this hints at Michael's appearance in the new game remains to be seen.
Fans will need to wait until the game's release in May 2026 to discover the truth behind this Easter egg.
