GTA 5 Star Ned Luke Dismisses Fan Theory About His Character's Daughter Appearing in GTA 6

Tracey De Santa from GTA 5 and a blonde character from GTA 6

A new fan theory about GTA 6 has been quickly shut down by Ned Luke, the actor who played Michael De Santa in GTA 5. The theory suggested that Michael's daughter Tracey might appear as a character in the upcoming game.

It all started when some fans recently spotted a blonde character covered in mud near the end of the GTA 6 trailer. They claimed this character resembled Tracey De Santa from GTA 5, pointing to similarities in hair color and facial structure. The theory suggested that Michael's daughter might have moved from Los Santos to Leonida, the fictional state where GTA 6 takes place.

Before this theory could gain much traction, Ned Luke himself stepped in. The actor responded on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple facepalm emoji, effectively dismissing the speculation.

This quick response isn't surprising to those familiar with Rockstar's approach to their games. As noted by Dexerto, the developer typically creates entirely new casts of characters for each major GTA title rather than bringing back protagonists or their family members from previous games.

However, Luke hasn't completely ruled out possible appearances in other formats. In a previous interview, he mentioned that while Michael hasn't returned in GTA Online yet, there's always a possibility for future content. "You never know what Rockstar is going to do," Luke said. "Maybe he's coming back for a final DLC, maybe he's not. Maybe we'll all be in GTA 6 Online, maybe not."

As the wait continues, fans will likely continue creating theories based on limited information. Rockstar Games is known for being tight-lipped about their upcoming releases, which only fuels more speculation among their passionate fanbase.

For now, it seems unlikely that we'll see Tracey De Santa or other GTA 5 characters returning in GTA 6's single-player story, based on both Luke's reaction and Rockstar's historical approach to new game releases.
