Hypercharge: Unboxed Sells 40,000 Copies on PlayStation in Just 3 Days

Indie developer Digital Cybercherries has announced that Hypercharge: Unboxed has sold over 40,000 copies on PlayStation within its first 72 hours of launch.


Released on May 30, the action figure-themed shooter has quickly become one of the top five best-selling new games on PlayStation in North America and number six in Europe.


A Toy Story-Inspired Shooter for All Ages

Hypercharge: Unboxed is a vibrant, first-and-third-person shooter that blends nostalgic charm with tight, cooperative gameplay. Inspired by Toy Story and Small Soldiers, players take control of sentient action figures defending the Hypercore from swarms of weaponized toys in a variety of imaginative, oversized battlegrounds.


Whether playing solo, split-screen, or in online co-op with up to four players, Hypercharge offers a refreshing mix of PvE wave defense, a story-driven campaign, and classic PvP modes. 


The game supports full split-screen, offline bot support, and cross-platform multiplayer across PC, Xbox, and now PlayStation (Switch support is coming soon).
