India's vibrant indie gaming scene is taking center stage at Google Play's prestigious Indie Games Accelerator (IGA) program.
Launched in 2018, the IGA worked as a catalyst for the growing mobile gaming industry in the region, providing independent developers with access to cutting-edge tools, mentorship from industry veterans, and global networking opportunities.

Avian Hearts Studios Pvt. Ltd
Founded in 2023, Avian Hearts Studios is a remote indie game dev team based in Pune, India. Their stylish debut "Mechanical Fury" - an acclaimed action FPS adventure - is available on Steam. The studio is now working on an unannounced new game, blending immersive storytelling with innovative gameplay.
Crimzen Red Studios
Founded in 2017, the Kochi-based indie studio Crimzen Red is working on their first major AAA project "Deities."
Dunali Games
Based in Gurugram, Haryana, indie studio Dunali Games is renowned for their hit hyper casual mobile games like Arrow Arcade, Carpet Craft, and Lumber Crowd. But the developer set their vision high with an upcoming strategy roguelike PC title Tale of Honor gearing up for PC (Steam) launch. Developers show their ambition to work on more PC and Console games in the future.
Niku Games
Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, Niku Games is a small indie studio currently working on the upgrade of their first PC game called The Palace on the Hill launched in 2023. It is an open-world adventure game where you collect stories, and inspirations and create beautiful Indian art-inspired paintings.
WASD Interactive
Founded in 2019, WASD Interactive is an independent game studio based in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. Their first mobile game Find the Nut, a Puzzle platformer launched last year on iOS and Android. Dev currently working on another mobile title.
