iQOO has kicked off the third season of its iQOO Pro Series, a nationwide esports tournament featuring Free Fire MAX.
The event promises to be the biggest yet, drawing over 3,000 teams from across the country and backing them with a prize pool of Rs 10 lakh.
How the Tournament Works
The iQOO Pro Series Season 3 follows a two-stage format. It starts with the Community Cup, which serves as the entry point for the 3,000-plus registered teams. Participants compete across six qualifier rounds, with the best teams earning a spot in the next stage.
From there, the qualified teams move into the Pro Series stage. This is where things get serious. They go head-to-head against invited professional esports teams.
The schedule for the remaining stages is:
Playoffs: March 14 to March 16, 2026
Grand Finals: March 17 to March 19, 2026
Teams that survive all the way to the Grand Finals will compete for the championship title and the Rs 10 lakh prize pool.
Community Cup Device Rewards
Beyond the cash prize at the top, the Community Cup stage also hands out device rewards to the top three finishing teams. Here is what is on the table:
1st Place: 4 iQOO Z10 devices
2nd Place: 4 iQOO Z10R devices
3rd Place: 4 iQOO Z11x devices
Nipun Marya spoke about the broader vision behind the event. "At iQOO, performance sits at the core of everything we build. Our smartphones are engineered to deliver powerful and reliable performance, enabling smooth and immersive experiences across demanding use cases, including high-intensity games such as Free Fire MAX. With iQOO Pro Series Season 3 for the Free Fire MAX community, we aim to create a competitive platform that empowers grassroots players from across India to showcase their skills and compete at a larger stage. As the mobile esports ecosystem continues to evolve, initiatives like these allow us to support emerging talent while contributing to the growth of India's gaming community."
Free Fire MAX has surpassed 500 million downloads on the Google Play Store and boasts over 85 million monthly active players worldwide, with India being one of the largest markets driving these impressive figures.
