The BGMI iQOO Battlegrounds Series 2025 has officially wrapped up this Sunday, with Orangutan Gaming claiming the championship after a dominating performance in the Grand Finals.


Throughout 18 intense matches, the team showcased exceptional coordination, consistency, and firepower to secure the top spot in the event.


The tournament, which ran from July 21 to August 10, 2025, featured 32 top-tier teams battling for a massive ₹1 crore prize pool. While the Group Stage and Semifinals were played online, the Grand Finals took place offline at the Noida Indoor Stadium, Delhi NCR, adding to the high-stakes atmosphere.


The Grand Finals matches saw a varied map rotation—Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, and Erangel again.


Led by Aaru, Orangutan topped the standings with 217 points, earning the ₹55 lakh first prize. Star player AKOP impressed fans and analysts alike with clutch plays and consistent fragging, winning the MVP award along with an additional ₹2 lakh.


Meta Ninza took second place with 156 points and three Chicken Dinners, securing ₹15 lakh in prize money. Close behind, K9 Esports, captained by Omega, earned 121 points to finish third and claim ₹7.5 lakh.

Looking ahead, BGMI fans can look forward to the BGMI Masters Series Season 4 (BGMS 2025), with leaks hinting at an August 18 start.


There are also whispers about a Franchise League, though some believe it has been delayed. But no need to worry, as the same rumors suggest Krafton India is planning a BGMI Showdown to bridge the gap this year, expected to happen after BGMS, likely by late September.
