Fortnite has officially launched its crossover with Netflix’s record-breaking film KPop Demon Hunters, bringing skins, cosmetics, a new game mode, and creator-made content into Epic Games’ battle royale.

The event runs from October 2 to November 1, 2025, giving players a full month to dive into the collaboration.

What’s Included in the KPop Demon Hunters x Fortnite Collab?

Demon Rush Mode

Demon Rush Mode from KPop Demon Hunters x Fortnite.

At the heart of the collab is Demon Rush, a reimagined version of the classic Horde Rush mode. In this update, squads can team up to battle endless waves of demons while recruiting one of the KPop Demon Hunters as an AI companion.

Between survival waves, players can equip special Demon Hunters-inspired perks, adding more flavor and strategy to the fight. The mode ties directly into Fortnite Chapter 6’s wider demonic theme and will remain available until November 1.

What About Fortnite Creative and UEFN?

For creators, Epic is rolling out a new set of KPop Demon Hunters assets in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and Creative. These include film-inspired backdrops, demon enemies, and NPC versions of the HUNTR/X idols. Fans can design their own arenas, stage shows, or story-driven experiences using these assets starting October 2.

This makes KPop Demon Hunters the latest officially licensed property to enter Fortnite Creative, following past collaborations with Squid Game, The Walking Dead, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Why KPop Demon Hunters?

The crossover makes sense given the film’s massive global success. Released earlier this summer, KPop Demon Hunters has become Netflix’s most-watched title ever, with over 325 million views. The streamer is already treating the franchise as its own “Frozen,” preparing sequels, a stage musical, and even a live-action remake.

By teaming up with Fortnite, the movie extends its reach into gaming culture while giving Epic Games another high-profile collaboration to add to its lineup, which already includes Marvel, Dragon Ball, and Star Wars.
