Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2025, is officially on the horizon, and this year’s lineup looks stacked with a mix of horror legends, nostalgic crossovers, and original nightmare fuel. According to leaks from reliable insider Shiina, the event will introduce at least 20 new skins, ranging from Scream’s Ghostface to the full Mystery Inc. gang from Scooby-Doo.

When Does Fortnitemares 2025 Begin?

Fortnitemares 2025 is expected to kick off on Friday, October 10 (some say October 2 at 4 am ET) and will run through the end of the month, perfectly aligned with Halloween night on October 31.


Players can expect the return of popular limited-time modes (LTM) such as Horde Rush, plus seasonal quests that reward free cosmetics. The island itself will see eerie redesigns—pumpkin patches, foggy forests, and undead-infested points of interest (POIs). While Epic Games hasn’t dropped an official trailer yet, leaks suggest a rolling schedule of weekly item shop updates, with different bundles and character drops spread across the event.


Which Skins Are Coming to Fortnitemares 2025?

Leak highlights a diverse cast of both licensed crossovers and Fortnite originals. Here’s a breakdown of the most talked-about additions:


Crossover Highlights

  • K-Pop: Demon Hunters (Rumi, Mira, Zoey): Based on Netflix’s hit animated film, these idol-turned-demon slayers arrive in a themed bundle early in the event (Oct 10–17). Bundle Price: ~2,800 V-Bucks (or 1,500 V-Bucks each).

  • Ghostface (Scream): The iconic masked killer returns with his signature knife, expected mid-event (Oct 17–24). Price: ~1,500 V-Bucks.

  • Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th): The hockey-mask slasher makes his long-awaited Fortnite debut late in the event (Oct 24–31). Price: ~1,500 V-Bucks.

  • Scooby-Doo Gang: Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Fred, and Scooby-Doo join as a full crew bundle on launch day (Oct 10). Full set: ~2,800-3,200 V-Bucks, or ~1,500 V-Bucks for a humans-only pack.

  • R.E.P.O.: A mech-inspired crossover from the indie horror title.

  • Marigold (Halloween Remix): Returns with cursed, autumn-themed styles.

  • Wolf Girl: A feral werewolf fighter with claw gauntlets.

  • Mothman: A cryptid-inspired, red-eyed terror with shadowy wings.

  • Butcher Pig: A bloodied pig with cleaver in hand, balancing gore and humor.

  • Grim Hound (Dire Remix): A bulked-up, crimson-furred take on the Dire skin.

  • Eternal Peely: A skeletal banana with glowing guts and a skull hat.

  • Poppy Playtime: Huggy Wuggy and other creepy toys from the viral indie hit.

  • Art the Clown (Terrifier): The cult slasher villain, complete with his horn as a potential pickaxe.

How Much Will It All Cost in V-Bucks?

If you’re looking to grab every bundle, you’ll want to stockpile your V-Bucks. Based on Fortnite’s usual pricing, players can expect to spend 15,000–18,000 V-Bucks to secure the event’s biggest highlights.


Free rewards are also expected, including a Jack-o’-Lantern glider and spooky sprays tied to daily challenges and quests.
