Earlier in July, when K-Pop Demon Hunters had just dropped on Netflix, word spread that several game developers were reaching out to the film’s team to secure collaborations, and Fortnite was rumored to be one of them.

Now, it looks like that rumor is about to become reality. Recent reports suggest the crossover is indeed headed to Fortnite.

Popular dataminer HYPEX hints at a potential Fortnite collaboration with K-pop Demon Hunters, featuring the characters Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, whose bold and stylized designs fans believe fit perfectly with Fortnite's aesthetic.

If you’re not familiar with this latest phenomenon, here are some quick numbers. Within just two months of release, it became the most‑watched movie on Netflix, breaking into the global top 10 in 93 countries. According to ScreenRant, K-Pop Demon Hunters has racked up 291.5 million views and 485.8 million viewing hours, surpassing all previous Netflix originals.

For context, the previous record holder was Red Notice (2021) with 230.9 million views over four years, a milestone K-Pop Demon Hunters blew past shortly after launch. The soundtrack has also made waves, with multiple songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100. “Golden” even hit No. 1, a rare achievement for an animated film’s original song.

Produced by Sony and streaming exclusively on Netflix, K-Pop Demon Hunters follows the Korean girl group Huntr/x, who live a double life: by day, they manage publicity and perform for legions of fans; by night, they transform into demon‑slaying superheroes.

Huntr/x is made up of Rumi, Mira, and Zoey. Their singing powers strengthen the Honmoon, a magical barrier between the human and demon worlds. Demon boy band Saja Boys are their rivals.

With their anime‑inspired art style, distinctive weapons, and flashy combat skills, the trio seems tailor‑made for a video game crossover.

So far, there has been no official word from Epic Games as they keep things closer to release. But it seems like collaboration is now closer than ever.
