League of Legends Pride Event 2025: Free Emotes, Icons, XP Missions, and More

Riot Games has officially launched the League of Legends Pride Event 2025, marking the 5th year of in-game Pride celebrations.

Running from May 31 to June 30, 2025, this limited-time event includes free emotes, Summoner Icons, XP-boosting missions, and a $100,000 donation to LGBTQIA+ non-profit oSTEM.

What Is the League of Legends Pride Event 2025?

The Pride Event 2025 honors the diverse LGBTQIA+ community within the League of Legends player base and champion roster. Champions like Vi, Caitlyn, K’Sante, Diana, and Leona represent LGBTQ+ identities in the game, and Riot Games continues to celebrate this diversity with cosmetics, missions, and community support.

This year’s Pride event introduces:

A new Rell emote
XP-boosting Battle Pass mission
Return of fan-favorite emotes
Pengu-themed Summoner Icons
Rainbow Homeguard trails
An official $100,000 donation to oSTEM

League of Legends Pride 2025 Missions

United Together Mission

Objective: Play 3 games with a premade team
Reward: 600 Battle Pass XP
Availability: May 31 – June 30, 2025

This mission helps players progress through their 25.11 and 25.12 Battle Passes more quickly while encouraging team-based play.

All Pride 2025 Emotes

New: Rainbow Warpaint Rell Emote (Free)

Rell’s new emote features her with a rainbow background and a bisexual pride flag on her face.

How to Get: Available free during the event by clicking the in-game offer.

Returning Emotes (1 Blue Essence Each):

Graves and Twisted Fate (smiling together)
K’Sante (flexing confidently)
Vi (showing off Pride-colored gauntlets)

These emotes from 2022–2023 return for a limited time and cost just 1 Blue Essence each in the store.

Pride 2025 Summoner Icons & Trails

Eight Pengu-themed icons are back, each representing a different Pride identity. All icons cost 1 Blue Essence and can be purchased in the store.

Riot’s $100,000 Donation to oSTEM

Beyond in-game items, Riot Games is donating $100,000 (~£73,847) to oSTEM—a non-profit focused on helping LGBTQIA+ individuals pursue STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Riot continues its support through the Rainbow Rioters, an internal employee group active across EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific.

When Does the Pride Event End?

All Pride 2025 content is available from May 31 through June 30, 2025. After that, the emotes and icons will leave the shop, so make sure to grab everything before time runs out!
