The Fantastic Four are officially joining Monopoly GO starting today, July 13, marking another major crossover between Scopely and Marvel Studios.

This tie-in event arrives ahead of Marvel’s upcoming film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, giving fans a superhero-themed twist to the mobile board game.

This isn’t Marvel’s first appearance in Monopoly GO. Back in September 2024, the game featured a Marvel-themed sticker album packed with 18 standard sets and two Prestige collections. That event lasted until December 5 and was met with strong engagement. Now, with the Fantastic Four front and center, Scopely seems set to expand on that success.

The event will introduce exclusive tokens for each Fantastic Four member:

  • Invisible Woman – unlockable through the Deluxe Drop event

  • The Thing – available in the Fantastic Partners event

  • Mister Fantastic – earned by completing the Fantastic Treasures dig

  • Human Torch – a reward for winning the Fantastic Racers minigame

But the collaboration goes beyond character tokens. Players can expect new community challenges, Fantastic Four-themed emojis, Wild Stickers, Swap Packs, legendary items, and hidden secret spots scattered throughout the board. While no official end date has been confirmed, similar events have run for up to two months.

According to Scopely, the May update that improved Album progression will help players more easily collect limited-time content.

This new Marvel collaboration follows closely behind the game’s Star Wars crossover in May, which featured content from the Skywalker Saga and The Mandalorian.

What stands out is how Monopoly GO keeps collaborations engaging without overwhelming the core loop. Fantastic Four feels well integrated, with each event adding variety instead of clutter. The same mindset applies to gaming habits too, like choosing to top up Limbus Company only when the gameplay still feels rewarding and fun.

This crossover feels like a smart move, especially with the movie coming up. Monopoly GO has been experimenting a lot with themed events, and it’s interesting to see how they keep finding ways to refresh the board without changing the core gameplay too much.
