Marvel Rivals has officially confirmed that Season 4 will introduce a K’un-Lun–inspired setting along with two highly anticipated heroes: Angela and Daredevil.

The new season, titled “Heart of the Dragon,” is set to launch on September 12, with Angela arriving first, followed by Daredevil later in the season.

This confirmation matches earlier leaks, which suggested the mystical theme and hero arrivals. Now, with a fresh trailer reveal, fans have a clear picture of what’s coming next.

What's New in Marvel Rivals Season 4

New Hero: Angela

Angela makes her debut as a vanguard hero, bringing unique combat abilities that mix offense and defense. She can shape her “icos,” a living fluid, into multiple weapons, transform them into spears for aerial dives, and even create shields to block enemy damage.

Daredevil’s Role

Daredevil joins later in the season as Dizang, the ruler of the Eighth City (K’un-Lun). According to the official storyline, "he sacrificed everything in a war between gods and demons to cleanse the souls of the lost and give humanity a fighting chance." His role ties deeply into the season’s central conflict, linking him directly to the ongoing struggle between heaven’s guardians and Doctor Doom’s schemes.

Official Blurb:

"The Timestream Entanglement has drawn the Seven Capitals together, forming the Heart of Heaven. After Knull’s fall, Hela is imprisoned in the An'Hay-Zhidi, where Dizang—Devil of the Eighth City—dares her to atone for her sins. But Angela will not forgive her betrayal. She arrives in the Heart of Heaven demanding Hela be handed over, yet its guardian refuses to surrender someone under his protection. Justice will be served and a debt will be paid. But while they fight, an even greater danger stirs. Doctor Doom seeks to steal the Chronal Chi of the slumbering dragon Shou-Lao, threatening to unravel the fate of the Heavens themselves."

New Map & Mode

On September 25, players will gain access to Heart of Heaven, a convergence mode map set in the ancient east. Here, the capitals of heaven circle around a slumbering immortal dragon. The map is designed to highlight large-scale battles while tying into the story of Iron Fist and Doctor Doom’s race to control the dragon’s Chronal Chi.
