What’s New in Season 4.5?
New Hero: Daredevil

The highlight of Season 4.5 is the arrival of Daredevil as a playable hero. Joining the Duelist category, Matt Murdock makes use of his radar sense to track enemies, close gaps with agility, unleash rapid melee attacks using his iconic billy clubs, and tap into "the Beast" power for enhanced strikes.
His Ultimate Ability brings a fear mechanic, forcing enemies who look at him to hesitate in combat. He also has a special team-up ability with The Punisher called Bestial Hunt.
Team-Up Ability Adjustments
Removed: Ragnarok Rebirth (Thor)
Removed: Namor from Gamma Charge
Added: Bestial Hunt (Daredevil + The Punisher)
Added: Deep Wrath (Namor + Hela)
New Game Mode Reveal
A brand-new mode will be showcased at the Thailand Game Show on October 17, with full details still under wraps.
Halloween Event
Season 4.5 also brings a festive Halloween event, featuring spooky-themed skins for heroes like Blade, Spider-Man, Wanda, and Peni Parker, including designs like pumpkin heads and zombie variants.
Cross-Platform Progression Beta
Perhaps the biggest feature of Season 4.5 is the long-awaited cross-progression system. After months of community requests, NetEase will launch a limited beta during this update before rolling it out fully in Season 5.
Here’s how it works:
Players can link accounts across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
One account must be set as the “main” profile.
A cooldown applies if players wish to change their main account.
Ranks and leaderboards remain platform-specific.
While Marvel Rivals already supported cross-play since launch, this update ensures progress, cosmetics, and purchases can now carry across platforms.
Guangguang noted that cross-progression has been “frantically cooking in development” and is finally ready for public testing.
Other Quality-of-Life Updates
Home screen customization with backgrounds, animations, and music from previous seasons.
Balance changes will be announced soon
The update goes live on October 10, 2025, across all platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
