Meet White Fox: The New Strategist

The bigger of the two character additions this season is White Fox, a South Korean super-spy and the game's newest Strategist. Her real name is Ami Han, and she has a rich history in Marvel comics. She first appeared in the 2014 webcomic Avengers: Electric Rain before making her English-language debut in Contest of Champions vol.1 in 2015.
She is the last known Kumiho, a mythical shapeshifting nine-tailed fox from Korean folklore. That heritage gives her enhanced physical abilities, animal communication, and a range of mystical powers. In the comics, she has worked with the Ultimates, the Agents of Atlas, and Tiger Division, where she has fought alongside Luna Snow as one of South Korea's major heroes.
In Marvel Rivals, she fills the Strategist role and leans into a hybrid combat-support playstyle. Her abilities include:
Yeowoo Guseul fox marbles that heal allies and deal damage to enemies
Kumiho energy that powers up teammates and charms opponents
A teleport ability that lets her jump directly to any ally on the map
A nine-tailed fox ultimate that grants teamwide Unstoppable status and lifesteal
She works well both as a traditional backline healer and as a frontline combat medic who can follow her divers into difficult spots and pull them back from tough situations.
White Fox is voiced by actress Jennifer Sun Bell, known for her roles in Zenless Zone Zero, Suzume, and Re: Zero.
Black Cat Is Coming in Season 7.5

The second new character is Felicia Hardy, better known as Black Cat. She will not be available at the start of the season. According to NetEase, Black Cat is set to arrive during Season 7.5, which begins on April 17, 2026.
Her role in the game has not been officially confirmed yet, but she is widely projected to be a Duelist. What we do know is that she has been hired by Mayor Wilson Fisk himself, which ties directly into the season's central storyline. More details will be revealed by NetEase ahead of her release.
However, Marvel Rivals fans are buzzing. Black Cat is recognized as a bisexual character in Marvel, and this announcement followed a content creator's hint that Season 7 might be the “gayest” season yet. A shared online clip showed the two characters in close proximity, with a teasing moment that led fans to speculate there could be more between them. Some players believe this might finally lead to more LGBTQ+ representation in the game.

The Biggest Change This Season: Ultimate Nerfs Across the Board
If you have been playing Marvel Rivals regularly, you have probably noticed how often Ultimates fly around in a typical match. NetEase clearly noticed too.
The headlining system change this season is a global reduction to Ultimate Ability charge rates, amounting to roughly a 20 percent slowdown across all roles.
As per the official post published by NetEase on March 17, the changes break down as follows:
Vanguards and Duelists:
Damage to energy conversion reduced from 90% to 70%
Passive Ultimate regeneration reduced from 12/s to 11/s
Strategists:
Damage and healing to energy conversion reduced from 90% to 75%
Passive Ultimate regeneration reduced from 12/s to 8/s
Hero Balance Highlights
Alongside the system changes, NetEase has touched a wide range of heroes. Here is a breakdown of the notable ones:
Buffed Heroes:
Hulk: Indestructible Guard now converts more absorbed damage into Ultimate charge. Gamma Burst gets two charges with faster recovery between uses.
Blade: Faster shotgun projectiles, extended sword range, stronger lifesteal, and excess healing now converts into bonus health.
Iron Man: Armor Overdrive starts up faster and now extends its duration with each KO during the ability.
Luna Snow: Idol Aura now reduces Ice Arts cooldown by 2 seconds whenever a hero with the aura assists in a KO.
Magneto: Meteor M Ultimate projectile speed increased. Iron Bulwark cooldown reduced for better lane pressure.
Nerfed Heroes:
Daredevil: Reduced damage, less bonus health, and lower damage reduction on Sonic Pursuit.
Hawkeye: Base health dropped from 275 to 250.
Invisible Woman: Guardian Shield healing cut from 25/s to 15/s, though out-of-combat recovery through Covert Advance is improved.
Deadpool (all roles): Ultimate cooldown increased from 45 seconds to 60 seconds across all three of his variants.
Team-Up Changes: Two Out, Two In
Two established Team-Up abilities are being removed this season. Duality Dance, which paired Adam Warlock and Luna Snow, is gone. Jeff-nado, the Storm and Jeff the Land Shark combination, has also been removed.
Replacing them are two new pairings:
Blessing of the Kumiho (White Fox and Luna Snow): White Fox gains a 10% boost to healing effects as the Team-Up Anchor. Luna Snow unlocks the new Spirit Fox Accord ability.
Cosmic Cyclone (Storm and Adam Warlock): Adam Warlock gains the Heavenly Harmony ability through this pairing.
