The wait is over—Marvel Rivals fans are finally getting the most in-demand character at the start of the new season in the new year. Deadpool is coming in Season 6, set to launch on January 16, 2026.

NetEase made sure the reveal had maximum impact by announcing the character during The Game Awards 2025, one of the biggest stages in gaming.
The trailer showcased Wade Wilson in all his chaotic glory, cracking fourth-wall-breaking jokes while slicing through enemies with his trademark mix of humor and violence.
While Ryan Reynolds’ portrayal of Deadpool in the MCU is widely loved, this version steps away from the cinematic take and brings Wade into the competitive world of Marvel Rivals, where he’ll fight alongside some of the universe’s biggest names.

Who Voices Deadpool in Marvel Rivals?
The other big question is who voices Deadpool in Marvel Rivals. While it hasn’t been confirmed, speculation points to Alejandro Saab. When Deadpool’s segment aired during The Game Awards, fans immediately began connecting the voice to Saab’s style.
The actor responded on X with a zipped-mouth emoji and later clarified, “I meant it as it’s not me, guys.”
Despite the denial, many in the community remain convinced. Voice actors often deflect until official announcements are made, so the mystery continues. Saab, known for roles in Borderlands 4, Zenless Zone Zero, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and countless anime and gaming projects, would certainly be a strong fit for the role.
Before Deadpool joins the fight, Marvel Rivals players have Rogue, who arrives in the Season 5.5 update this week.
