Mecha Break, the upcoming multiplayer mech shooter from Amazing Seasun Games, is officially set to launch on July 1.
The open beta made quite an impression, peaking at 317,000 concurrent players on its first day, which gave the game a solid spot among Steam’s top five most-wishlisted titles. With its blend of high-speed mech combat and sleek visuals, it's clear that Mecha Break has struck a chord with fans of the genre — especially those who enjoy a bit of Armored Core-style action or have fond memories of classic mech franchises like Gundam or Transformers.
Now that the beta phase is behind us, the full launch will introduce crossplay support between Xbox and PC, allowing players from both platforms to join forces right from day one. The release date was confirmed during a showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025, where the developers also teased post-launch plans to expand the game's mech roster.
Amazing Seasun Games already has three seasons of content updates in the pipeline. While specific details on those updates are still under wraps, it’s clear the studio isn’t just treating this like a one-and-done launch. Instead, they’re positioning Mecha Break as a long-term live-service title with regular content drops and balance tweaks to keep the action fresh.
Currently, there is no word about Mecha Break releasing on PS5 or Nintendo Switch 2. The confirmed release platforms are only Xbox Series X|S and PC.
