This Nintendo Direct was packed with major announcements spanning both Switch and Switch 2. The biggest highlights were finally getting a release date for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, the surprise Virtual Boy recreation, and confirmation of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The 40th anniversary celebrations for Super Mario Bros. look substantial, and there's a great mix of first-party Nintendo titles and third-party games coming throughout 2025 and 2026.
