A new Nintendo Direct is reportedly still on track to air in the final week of July, according to multiple known leakers. While Nintendo has yet to confirm the broadcast, speculation around the upcoming showcase continues to gain momentum—especially following this month’s Pokémon Presents.

The latest report comes from CentroLeaks on Twitter, who posted on July 26 that a Nintendo Direct is still scheduled before the end of the month. Though Centro did not offer details on what the event would cover, the timing aligns with earlier predictions from reliable leaker NateTheHate, who also suggested the broadcast would happen in late July.

Nate elaborated further in his YouTube video, stating that his sources confirmed a Direct is coming “this month,” though not before the release of Donkey Kong Bananza (launch on July 17). Nate also pointed out that Nintendo’s quarterly earnings report falls on August 1, making the final days of July a plausible window for the presentation.

Adding to the excitement is Nintendo’s stacked lineup of both first-party and third-party games. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, for instance, remains without a specific release date despite being one of the company’s most anticipated 2025 titles. Fans are hopeful that this Direct will finally deliver an update. Similarly, the Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles and Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake ports—already confirmed for Nintendo platforms—could see fresh trailers or dates announced.

July has already been busy for Nintendo fans. The Pokémon Presents earlier this week introduced several new updates, including details for Pokémon Champions (coming 2026), an extended look at Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Mega Dragonite—a brand-new Mega Evolution—marking the first since Generation VI.

While nothing has been officially announced by Nintendo yet, the current pattern of leaks, previous Direct cycles, and key business dates suggests that something is indeed coming soon. And with major industry events like Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show right around the corner in August and September, the timing for a July Direct would allow Nintendo to plant its flag before the competition heats up.

UPDATE: Nintendo Direct announced for tomorrow, on July 31.
