NVIDIA has announced its full lineup of games coming to GeForce NOW for May 2026, along with a major performance upgrade that brings RTX 5080-class power to nearly the entire cloud gaming library for Ultimate members.
Starting this month, GeForce NOW Ultimate subscribers can now stream almost every game in the Ready-to-Play library using RTX 5080 virtual rigs. That is a significant change. Up until now, RTX 5080 support was being rolled out gradually, with only a select number of titles getting access to the upgraded hardware.
The expansion means Ultimate members can experience higher frame rates, richer visuals, and lower latency across the board. Performance goes up to 5K at 120 fps, or up to 360 fps at 1080p in supported titles.
Along with the hardware upgrade, Ultimate members also unlock NVIDIA DLSS 4 for sharper image quality, NVIDIA Reflex for snappier input response, and advanced ray tracing for more realistic lighting.
Forza Horizon 6 Is Finally Here, and It Is Set in Japan
The biggest release of the month is without a doubt Forza Horizon 6, launching May 19 on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a PS5 version confirmed for later in 2026. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass from day one, and it will be playable via GeForce NOW on launch day as well.
This entry takes the Horizon festival to Japan for the first time in the series' history. According to reports, the map is the largest and most dense Horizon has ever produced. The Tokyo metropolitan area at the center of the map is reportedly five times bigger in urban scale compared to previous entries. Beyond that, players can look forward to mountain passes near Mt. Haruna, coastal routes, rice fields, snowy Japanese Alps, and real-world-inspired roads like the C1 Loop and Ginkgo Avenue.
007: First Light Brings James Bond Back to Gaming
The other major launch of the month is 007: First Light, arriving May 27 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The Switch 2 version has been delayed to later this year, as per reports. The game will be available on GeForce NOW on day one for players picking it up on Steam, Xbox on PC, or GOG.
IO Interactive, the studio behind the modern Hitman trilogy, is developing the title. It is an origin story featuring a young James Bond, approximately 26 years old, voiced and performed by Patrick Gibson. The story follows Bond as he earns his place in the newly revived Double 0 program. The narrative draws from Ian Fleming's novels and classic films while telling a completely original story.
Gameplay blends IO Interactive's signature systemic stealth approach with larger, more cinematic set pieces. Players can go loud with gunplay and car chases, or take things slow with stealth and gadgets. High-society locations like resorts and galas give the game that classic Bond atmosphere fans have been waiting for.

GeForce NOW Arrives in India
GeForce NOW launched in India last month, on April 16, 2026, in early access beta. NVIDIA is offering introductory pricing through 90-day passes rather than monthly subscriptions, and the pricing is noticeably more affordable than global rates.
India Pricing:
Free Tier:
Price: Free (coming soon, not yet available)
Features: 1080p at 60 fps, 1-hour sessions, ads, longer queues
Performance Tier:
Price: Rs. 999 for 90 days (approximately Rs. 333/month)

Ultimate Tier:
Price: Rs. 1,999 for 90 days (approximately Rs. 666/month)
Features: Up to 4K/5K at 120 fps (up to 360 fps in supported modes), RTX 5080-class rigs, DLSS 4, Reflex, HDR, highest priority access
Optional Add-on:
200GB Persistent Storage: Rs. 299 for 90 days

For context, US Performance pricing sits at around $9.99/month (approximately Rs. 830), and US Ultimate at $19.99/month (approximately Rs. 1,660). Indian users are currently paying roughly a third of that during the introductory phase.
Access is currently invite-based on a first-come, first-served basis. Users still need to own their games on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Game Pass, or other supported platforms. Once the beta period ends, pricing is expected to shift to monthly plans, likely around Rs. 999/month for Performance and Rs. 1,999/month for Ultimate, with the standard 100-hour monthly playtime limit applying at that point.
