Game Highlights: What to Expect from Each New Title

Silent Hill 2

Developed by Bloober Team and published by Konami, the 2024 remake of Silent Hill 2 reimagines the survival horror classic with modern visuals, unsettling sound design, and enhanced atmosphere. Players take on the role of James Sunderland as he explores the fog-covered town of Silent Hill in search of his late wife. With its psychological depth, disturbing monsters like Pyramid Head, and multiple branching endings, the remake stays true to the emotional intensity of the 2001 original while elevating it for a new generation.

Until Dawn

Rebuilt from the ground up for PS5, Until Dawn brings Supermassive Games’2015 horror hit into a new era. Set in an isolated mountain lodge, eight friends reunite only to face unimaginable terror. Every decision you make affects who survives, with branching storylines and quick-time events determining each outcome. Featuring cinematic visuals and improved controls, the remake offers the definitive way to experience one of PlayStation’s most iconic interactive horrors.

V Rising

InV Rising, you awaken as a weakened vampire determined to rebuild your empire. Developed by Stunlock Studios, this open-world action RPG mixes crafting, base-building, and survival mechanics in a gothic setting teeming with danger. Hunt for blood, construct your castle, and battle rival vampires across a vast, ever-changing world. Whether you play solo or in multiplayer clans, every night offers new opportunities for conquest and betrayal.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Developed byRyu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega, Yakuza: Like a Dragon reinvents the long-running franchise with turn-based RPG combat. You play as Ichiban Kasuga, a loyal ex-yakuza who emerges from prison to find his clan destroyed and his life upended. Team up with an unlikely group of outcasts to uncover the truth behind his betrayal. With heartfelt storytelling, hilarious side quests, and chaotic street battles, it’s one of the most celebrated entries in the series.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1

Developed by Mob Entertainment, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 is a short but chilling puzzle-horror experience set in an abandoned toy factory. As a former employee returning to uncover the truth behind mysterious disappearances, you’ll solve mechanical puzzles and avoid being hunted by the terrifying Huggy Wuggy. Its eerie design, VHS-inspired storytelling, and short runtime make it an ideal choice for quick, spooky sessions.

As Dusk Falls

From Interior/Night and Xbox Game Studios, As Dusk Falls is an interactive narrative drama that tells the intertwined stories of two families over 30 years. What starts as a robbery gone wrong evolves into a generational saga of survival, love, and forgiveness. Presented in a distinctive graphic-novel art style, the game emphasizes player choice, with every decision shaping the characters’ fates across multiple branching outcomes.

Wizard with a Gun

Published by Devolver Digital and developed by Galvanic Games, Wizard with a Gun combines roguelike combat and cooperative chaos. You and up to three friends can explore a magical post-apocalyptic wilderness, crafting enchanted ammunition and experimenting with spell-based weaponry. It’s a fast-paced, creativity-driven sandbox that rewards clever experimentation and teamwork.

Tekken 3

Rounding out the month, Tekken 3 returns as part of the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics lineup. Originally released in 1997 by Namco, the PS5 and PS4 versions feature modern enhancements such as up-rendered visuals, rewind, and quick-save functions. With a roster including Jin Kazama, Eddy Gordo, and Hwoarang, Tekken 3 remains one of the best 3D fighters of all time — balancing accessibility with deep combat mastery.
