Outlaws + Handful of Missions Remastered is officially releasing today, November 20, 2025. Nightdive Studios, the team behind Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster, is bringing back the 1997 western FPS classic with modern upgrades, making it accessible to both longtime fans and new players.

Originally developed by LucasArts using the Jedi engine, Outlaws was praised for its soundtrack and gameplay but criticized for visuals that felt dated even at the time. Fast forward nearly three decades, and Nightdive has rebuilt the game with sharper textures, uncompressed cutscenes, and support for modern hardware.
