SEGA’s recently released fiscal report suggests that Persona 4 Revival and RGG Studio’s Stranger Than Heaven may not arrive until sometime in or after fiscal year 2027.
In a presentation slide outlining SEGA’s "medium-term pipeline," five upcoming titles are listed. Among these, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds stands out with a confirmed release date of September 25, 2025. The other titles include Football Manager (slated for a 2025 launch), Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army (which has already launched), and the two highly anticipated projects—Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven.
What makes fans pause is that both Persona 4 Revival and Stranger Than Heaven are marked under “announced titles to be released in or after FY2027/3.” This classification doesn't necessarily confirm a 2027 release, though. SEGA’s fiscal year 2027 technically kicks off in April 2026, so there’s still a possibility one—or even both—games could see a late 2026 launch. Still, expectations should be managed, as delays or longer development cycles are common in today’s industry.

Persona 4 Revival had been a consistent rumor in the gaming sphere until its recent official unveiling. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Meanwhile, Stranger Than Heaven—originally codenamed Project Century—was formally revealed during Summer Game Fest 2025, sparking new interest in RGG Studio’s next big thing after Like A Dragon. The platforms haven't been announced yet, but we anticipate it to be similar to before.
