Sega has revealed that the Persona 5 series has reached a milestone of 13 million units sold worldwide, up from the 10 million units reported in 2023.
The update comes from Sega’s 2025 Integrated Report, which highlights the company’s financial performance for the third quarter.

To put that into perspective, as of August 2025, Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal together had sold 10.46 million copies. That means the spin-off titles: Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, Persona 5 Strikers, and Persona 5 Tactica have contributed roughly 2.54 million units combined.
It’s worth remembering that back in 2023, Sega had already confirmed Persona 5 Strikers alone had surpassed 2 million sales.
The report also sheds light on other Sega franchises. Sonic Frontiers has now sold 4.57 million units, while Sonic Superstars sits at 2.43 million units, a number Sega previously admitted was below expectations.
On the RPG side, Persona 3 Reload has already reached 2.07 million units, and that figure doesn’t even include its recent release on the Switch 2. Meanwhile, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has sold 1.66 million units, continuing the momentum of the long-running series.
