Petition to Bring Helldivers 2 to Xbox Surpasses 133k Signatures

The push to bring Helldivers 2 to Xbox is picking up steam, with a Change.org petition now sitting at over 133,000 signatures. Launched shortly after the game’s release in early 2024, the petition has steadily grown as more Xbox players jump on board, eager to see the hit co-op shooter land on their console.

Helldivers 2, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, launched as a PlayStation 5 and PC exclusive. The game quickly became a massive success, winning multiple awards and building a strong, dedicated community. But for Xbox fans, being left out of the action has been frustrating.

The petition initially picked up around 25,000 signatures in its first month, but over the past year, that number has skyrocketed past 133,000. While petitions don’t guarantee anything, it shows a strong demand.

Arrowhead Game Studios has been open with its community, but when it comes to an Xbox release, the decision is entirely up to Sony.

This has led to speculation about whether PlayStation might return the favor.
